Error installing iKernel.exe:
The Specified Network Name Is No Longer Available

I get this error when I try to install programs that use install shield. I was trying to install Intervideo windvd 7. I removed windvd 6 & then proceeded to install 7 & that is when it started. I restored, but that didn't fix it
What should I do????

That link is no longer available, it is a 404, at least on my computer. Can somebody please explain this? My error does not include a sentence about "Network", but simply says, "iKernel.exe is unavailable (0x00001)."
