This is my situation. When I turn on my computer for the day, and windows comes up on screen so does this error:
RUNDLL
Error loading C:/program~1/NewDot~1/~2.DIL

Then it says: The Specified module could not be found. A friend of mine tried to help but, I still didn't get what to do and where I go to download a free version of Run32.dll

Any assistance, anyone can give I would really appreciate it.

This is a great site, never been here before.

I look forward to any replies.

Thank you.

You should repost in the malware forum, you have spyware called newdotnet

You can remove newdot from the ad/remove programs list, then run Adaware and Clean up to make sure your system is clean.

Howdy and welcome to G2G:

Newdot is malware !! :)

Suggest you go to This Link <-- Click here

Wollow the instructions exactly.. Once you have finished, post a copy of your HiJackThis log in the Malware Forum (link is underlined in my signature) and let the guru's there have a go at it!! :tazz:

Hi Murray I got rid of the NewDot thingy. But, there is no free Run32.dll program that is free. Unless I am totally misunderstanding what you are saying. I am really new at the more details parts of what makes a computer tick so please bare with me.

And I will do the Ad-Ware thingy again to see what shows up.

Problem again was:

When I turn on computer this comes up:

RUNDLL

Error loading C:/Program~1/NewDot~1/~2.DIL

I will reboot my computer and see if it is still there.

Sincerely,

Follow MY directions.. Nothing I posted said anything about a free run32.dll

Follow all the instructions in the first link and then post a HJT log in the Malware forum.. the link is right where I said!!
