Is there a volume button next to the headphone jack? There is on my dad's Audigy 2 ZS Platinum. Simple question I know, but it happens to the best of us. :tazz:

hehe yeah i knew about that i had looked inside at all the connectors and the spillter has a prong that had fallin off or was cut or broken or somthing and it wasn't getting enough power

EDIT: okay it does work but i get this annoying static sound and it pisses the [bleep] outta me i do know there is a jumper in the I/O driver for dynamic and condenser could this be the problem?

and it is set to the condenser
