Flush your system restore, this will delete any restore points that you have but it will also make sure that any malware hiding in system restore will be booted off.
Turn off System Restore:
Create a restore point:

I completed the instructions but as I mentioned earlier, there is no executable file with that name. Don't know if it matters or not.

Please print out these instructions as we will be doing this fix in Safe mode.
Check for updates with Spysweeper. Then exit Spysweeper for now.
RIGHT-CLICK HERE and choose "Save As" (in IE it's "Save Target As") in order to download EGDACCESS Remover. Save it in the folder you made earlier (c:\BFU)
Now reboot into Safe mode.
Once in safe mode...
Click Start > Run > and type "cmd" (without the quotes):
This should bring up a dos prompt, type the following:
c:\windows\system32\aexkrvw.exe -uninstall
(note there is a space between exe and -uinstall)
Then press the "Enter key".
Start the Brute Force Uninstaller, that you downloaded before, by doubleclicking BFU.exe
In the scriptline to execute copy and paste c:\bfu\EGDACCESS.bfu
Press execute and let it do it’s job.
Wait for the complete script execution box to popup and press OK.
Press exit to terminate the BFU program.
Delete this file.
c:\windows\system32\aexkrvw.exe
Now run a full scan with Spysweeper and save the log.
Reboot back into normal mode and post a new hijackthis log and the log from Spysweeper.

The trial period is over for spysweeper so I can't use it without buying. I'll do the rest of the instructions though.

When I did the uninstall in dos, it said I needed to be connected to the internet to delete the file. I clicked ok and the same box kept coming up. I clicked cancel and it said it was deleted. ??????
After running the BFU, I went to the system32 folder to delete the aexkrvw.exe and as with the other file I deleted the other day, there were three data files by that name but not an executable file, so I deleted the other three. As soon as I rebooted in normanl mode, the PUP window came up.

This should bring up a dos prompt, type the following:
c:\windows\system32\uxpvhftg.exe -uninstall
(note there is a space between exe and -uinstall)
Then press the "Enter key".
Fix these lines with Hijackthis.

That sounds promising. 
Start the Brute Force Uninstaller, that you downloaded before, by doubleclicking BFU.exe
In the scriptline to execute copy and paste c:\bfu\EGDACCESS.bfu
Press execute and let it do it’s job.
Wait for the complete script execution box to popup and press OK.
Press exit to terminate the BFU program.
Delete these files and any similar files with these names, as you have before.
c:\windows\system32\aexkrvw.exe
c:\windows\system32\uxpvhftg.exe
Flush out your system restore by turning it off and then re-enable it again to set a fresh restore point.
Let me know how it goes.

Completed the last instructions without any problems but didn't see the two files anywhere, c:\windows\system32\aexkrvw.exe
