I have a Dell 8100 Dimension Desktop running Windows ME. I use Netscape 7.0 as my browser to get on the internet ( i have a cable modem as my isp). I have had the same problem for the past year that i have used Netscape. iEVEVYTIME I CLICK NETSCAPE I AM ABLE TO GO TO MY GOOLGE HOMEPAGE VERY QUICKLY, BUT IF I TYPE ANYTHING INTO THE GOOGLE BAR AND PRESS ENTER THE PROGRAM WILL FREEZE AND THE ONLY WAY TO ESCAPE IS FOR ME TO CTRL ALT DELETE TO END TASK ON THE PROGRAM. THE ONLY WAY I HAVE GOTTEN AROUND THIS PROBLEM IS THAT WHEN I GET TO THE GOOLGLE SCREEN I HAVE EBAY UNDER FAVORITES AND CLICK ON THAT PAGE. THEN I HAVE TO VERY CAREFULLY HIT "SIGN IN" ONLY ONCE AND WAIT WHILE NETSCAPE LOOKS LIKE IT HAS FROZE BUT ABOUT 3 MINITES LATER THE SIGN IN SCREEN ACUALLY APPEARS. i DO NOT EXAGERATE, IT REALLY TAKES THAT LONG. AFTER THIS HAPPENS I NEVER HAVE ANY PROBLEM WITH THE NETSCAPE FREEZING. I HAVE TO DO THIS PROCESS EVERY TIME I OPEN NETSCAPE, I HAVE GOTTEN USED TO IT BUT IS THERE ANY WAY TO FIX THIS????????? THIS CAN NOT BE THE WAY IT IS FOR EVERYONE? IS IT?
