When I open from the IE folder it just says microsoft internet explorer at the top of the page.
I connected via wireless and get the yahoo homepage that I have set. I took my wireless card out and connected via the dial up and went to the IE folder to launch IE. The message at the top is "Cannot find server-Microsoft Internet Explorer. Bottom of page error message "cannot find server or DNS error.

Just curious, why would you need to use dialup anyways if you have a good cable connection at home?

Have you tried reinstalling the software for the dialup service? If you don't use software installed, then try making a new dial-up connection.
