I get c:\Windows\system32 upon startup

When I start windows xp, I get the c:\windows\system32 explorer file. I had a similar problem before that caused my system to slowdown. Now it seems that maybe a file is loading that is causing this error. I tried Dell support and they told me to change the msconfig so that nothing loads. This is an issue for my my apps like Adsgone and Norton. I did a hijackthis scan and saved the log which I have copied below. Any suggestions?

First go to Add/Remove Software and see if you can remove ViewPoint Manager there. Regardless of whether that works or not continue with what's below.

Check the items listed below in HijackThis, close all windows except HijackThis and click Fix checked:

Thanks Pieter!! I fixed the bad files, ran AdAware, CWShredder and all is fine.
