Hi, I'm new here and have done a search on this, and saw that someone had a similar problem previously but with an earlier version of yahoo messenger, and their problem didn't seem to have been resolved - I hope someone can help me now!

I have been running the new version of yahoo messenger, 7 with BT Communicator, with no problems for some time now. Suddenly a few days ago it stopped working - whenever I log in I get a pop up box telling me that YM has performed and illegal operation and must close, which it does....

The full details I get are:

YPAGER caused an invalid page fault in
module MSVCRT.DLL at 0167:78025e31.

I haven't changed any settings
anywhere. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling. I've tried uninstalling and instaling an older version, same problem. I've alos tried installing Trillian, which works, but as soon as Trillian connects to yahoo that crashes too!

Any ideas please? Thank you.
