My computer suffers from lagged response time, slow start-up, and hangs/crashes at random times. To make matters worse, in an effort to facilitate /ease the help process, I've downloaded and attempted to run Ad-Aware. However, whenever the full scan as described in the "Start Here" page nears completion, the computer locks up, flashes to a blue screen, and then restarts.

Below is the log file from HijackThis!:

AND one final question: considering the large amount of media (music, most of which is irreplacable) on my hard drive...would it still be safe/advisable to run CleanUp! as directed?

Thanks in advance,

You have a lovely collection of malware present on your system.

Please copy these instructions to notepad for use while in Safe Mode later.

Please disable Spyware Doctors real-time protection before proceeding with the following fix to prevent any mishaps.
Open Spyware Doctor and click on the Onguard button to the left.
Remove the check from the "Activate OnGuard" option in the next window to disable all protections.

Step 1

Configure Windows to Show all hidden files & folders and ensure you're familiar with rebooting into Safe Mode.

Download FixAlcan.zip and unzip it to your desktop.

Download DeleteAlcan.zip and unzip it to your desktop.

Step 2

Reboot into Safe Mode - Very Important !!

Double-click on DeleteAlcan.bat and and watch the command screen appear quickly while it deletes some files.

Double-click on Fixalcan.reg and confirm you wish to add the contents to the registry when prompted.

Step 3

Run HijackThis again and place a checkmark before the following entries (if still present):
