Could someone tell me if there is a place in xp if I could monitor the voltage output of the power supply?
I think I might have a problem starting to emerge as I notice the screen color (white) starting to dim at times.

You could try MotherBoardMonitor(MBM). It can be a little daunting to setup, but will provide voltage ansd temp reading for compataible motherboards.

Here's another easier prog, no need to configure, and gives alot of info about your box
Like voltages, temps, clockspeeds.
