Hello, this is my first post thankyou in advance for your assistance.

I have been getting a Windows messenger Service popup that says: Critical System Error! The Windows registry appears to be infected. Please download the best registry cleaner tool at www.cleanmyreg.com to scan and repair your registry.

Is there a way to stop this from coming up without disabling the Messenger service completely? Thanks. :tazz:

Have you runned Ad aware and spybot to see did they find a infection of somekind?

Its not an Instant Messenger program its the OS messenging service that the spyware seems to be using so I can't uninstall it like a normal program. I have run Adware and it has found infections but after removal have seen this popup return. Thanks.
