OK so I'm going a little crazy trying to figure out what's wrong. I had the google search bar installed. Worked great no problems. I go to log on the other day typed something in the search box and nothing happens. I thought maybe it was problem with Google itself, and that it would be back up n running in no time. Not the case. So as usual I turn to GeeksToGo.
Now its not just google problems, most pages load just fine, but others dont do anything I type it in hit enter and nothing happens i mean like it doesnt even leave the page i'm on and give me this page cannot be displayed. Right now I tried to open the show all box to my left with all the little smiley faces on it, You can hear it click like its going to open but it does nothing.
I've ran everything suggest and then some, my hijack log looks ok, but i'm no expert so i dont know.
When i go to trendmicro to scan .. I can't :-( why because when i click on scan nothing happens and the window does not open. I was able to run bit defender, it found nothing, as did my avg.

Just tried one last time since i rebooted and havent tried google yet... I got this... http://sea.search.ms...=www.google.com
Hey thats more than I was getting atleast it went somewhere this time, but most of the links still do nothing.

We have Verizon dsl, with 2 wireless pc's running, they all 3 do the same thing.
I tried to download Firefox thinking it was something with explorer... but IT WONT OPEN (uggghhh)
Do i need to post a HJT log?? Can someone Please help, its driving us crazy.
Thanks so much. :tazz:

I tried that already, not it. I also changed security settings to Low.

I was able to download firefox to my desktop... then it would open to run (whereas when i clicked the link the first time it would start to download then just disappear) I clicked on RUN and this error came up..
C:/Documents and Settings/Owner/Desktop/Firefox Setup 1.0.7.exe is not a vailid Win32 application.

Does this help to narrow down the problem ??

So I reset my Router ( Reset it Not just unplugged it ) changed the account name and everything seems to work fine again, with the exception of..... When I try to download something, (firefox again) it will run when I click on it and download starts... then it just disappears and never returns. But if I save it to desk top it will complete and save there then I'm able to run it. Any ideas why this is ??? :tazz: :)
