Nevermind...I had the active x properties in internet explorer set wrong for the internet zone
Somehow I had them all disabled, but didn't check that zone because I had it set as a "trusted site"
I found the answer while trying to figure out what was wrong with
Windows Genuine Advantage Validation Tool.
:tazz: I laugh at myself for missing the obvious...ed

Another question for the knowledge pool known as geekstogo.
This a list of active x controls(add-ons) on my computer used by i.e. in the past:
dhtmled.ocx
mshtml.dll
npipi150_01.dll
muweb.dll
msnetobj.dll
shdocvw.dll (two entries SearchAssistantOC & Shell Name Space both published by Microsoft Corporation)
Flash.ocx
npipi150_01.dll(Java Console published by (not verified)Sun Microsystems)
tdc.ocx
iuctl.dll
LegitCheckControl.DLL
wmp.dll
This is whats running:
npipi150_01.dll
YPager.exe
Is there any way I can get the other controls to run with i.e. or is there somthing on eather list that should not be there?
Any thoughts or solutions graciously accepted. thank you...ed
