Hi - Had no reply to my earlier post -- umm I know you are all busy.

I woke up to a full on winfixer2005 intaller runing and sticking ads everywhere !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I run adaware, etc and have just run webroot spysweeper
I have downloaded hijackthis and looked at the logs
I have downloaded Vundofix but not run it yet

Now I have stopped the ads but on rebott I still get asked to install the disgusting thing.
I cannot seem to find the references to it in the Hijack log or in taskmanager.
I also ran a regisry cleaner and still cant see anything - but its obviously there.
Can anyone help me get rid of it pleeeeeaaaassseeee.
Ever so grateful
Im dangerous so need careful instruction

Keep well

Hi Phil,
Thanks for the reply.
I think I may have solve the issue.
I had another collegue who helped me during the day (I was desperate).
It was not Winfixer 2005
There were a set of files such as fwfwlkv.exe and ... lpnetinstaller
Anyway we have worked through the system and it seems to be clean now.
I will post back if I have more issues.
Thanks for the reply and I will let you know as I need this resolved but its now nearly 12 midnight in France.
Keep well.
