IM not sure what happened to my first post, but I cant get it to work, so Ill try again. Here are my three problems:

1. Every time I use google it redirects me to morwillsearch. It is a huge pain
2. CWS Shredder says I have the look2me virus but wont get rid of it even when it says it does. On reboot it is still there.
3. I have a random pop up add telling me my computer is going to get taken over if I dont buy a certain security wall.

I did all the scans recommended on the "read this first" page, but the problems are stlil there. Here is my HJT log:

6. Pandascan - I couldnt get the Trend Housecall to work on my computer for some reason.
7. I have Mcafee Viruscan, but it is a corporate version given out for free by Duke University.

I scanned it 2x to make sure I did it write the first time. Here are the symptoms I have if that helps:

1) When I click on a Google link (or yahoo, etc) Morwillsearch.com redirects me to its search page (http://morwillsearch.com/index.php)
2) CWS Shredder says I have the look2me virus, it says it cleans it, but when I restart it is back.
3) A popup appears every 30 minutes that says something like my computer is at risk and I need to buy windows security (I cant remember the exact name, when it happens again Ill post it for you.

I've read the symptom's the first time through, no need to let me know them again, i go through things a certain way for the simple fact if i miss something i will have to go through all over again.

With that being said lets get rid of the most obvious one.

Please print these instructions out for use in Safe Mode.

Please download VundoFix.exe to your desktop.

• Double-click VundoFix.exe to extract the files
• This will create a VundoFix folder on your desktop.
• After the files are extracted, please reboot your computer into Safe Mode. You can do this by restarting your computer and continually tapping the F8 key until a menu appears. Use your up arrow key to highlight Safe Mode then hit enter.
• Once in safe mode open the VundoFix folder and doubleclick on KillVundo.bat
• You will first be presented with a warning.
  It should look like this

and Save the file to your Desktop; double click l2mfix.exe. Click the Install button to extract the files and follow the prompts, then open the newly added l2mfix folder on your Desktop. Double click l2mfix.bat and select option #1 for Run Find Log by typing 1 and then pressing Enter. This will scan your computer and it may appear nothing is happening, then, after a minute or 2, Notepad will open with a log. Copy the contents of that log and paste it into your next post here. Do a new scan with HijackThis!, and post the new log as well.

OK, Ive done the things you asked, but, I need to tell you that a friend of mine referred me to the program you had me download and said that it would fix the look2me virus. I ran it before I even found out about geekstogo and the program did not fix the virus. Please follow these instructions.

Close any programs you have open since this step requires a reboot.
From the l2mfix folder on your Desktop, double click l2mfix.bat and select option #2 for Run Fix by typing 2 and then pressing Enter, then press any key to reboot your computer. After a reboot, your desktop and icons will appear, then disappear (this is normal). L2mfix will continue to scan your computer and when it's finished, Notepad will
open with a log. Copy the contents of that log and paste it back into this thread, along with a new Hijackthis log.
IMPORTANT: Do NOT run any other files in the l2mfix folder until you are asked to do so!

My system seems to be running great. I havent had a popup nor has Morwill come up. I switched to Firefox yesterday, and that seems to be going well also. So, things seem to be fixed from my end, but Ill let you tell me when they are...I dont want some sleeper spyware to come back!

The only connection problem I have had is that I can no longer access gmail.com without signing into their https server. The regular http one will not load...not sure why....the page says "done" but nothing shows up. Everything else seems to be working fine. I have full access to the internet.

One more thing. When I run Spybot, halfway through it says: "There were problems in the include file C:\Program Files\Spybot - Search_Destroy\Includes\Hijackers.sbi See "include errors.log" for details."

Is this a problem?
