I want to install Yahoo DSL on my 98SE laptop, but don't want to use their CD that changes the way IE 6 works. Is there anyway to get around this.

Yes, you can login to the DSL modem itself and change the login name and password to the master account and password that you used when you initially hooked up DSL. Doing this will allow you to use the router without having to login every time you want to get on the Internet, you'll be able to just open IE and it should work.
