Hi everyone, thankx in advance to who ever helps me!

PLS! HELP!

Well, heres my problem.
My computer is SLOW as [bleep], and im prety sure its because of alot of spyware and possible viruses.
I keep getting a pop up from WINFIXER, but i only get that if i go on IE.

When i go on FireFox, i dont get that pop up, but i still get some.
I have Cable with Road Runner and it takes Years to load up a page.

Can anyone please help... it will be greatly appreciated!

Please print out or copy this page to Notepad. Make sure to work through the fixes in the exact order it is mentioned below. If there's anything that you don't understand, ask your question(s) before proceeding with the fixes. You should 'not' have any open browsers when you are following the procedures below.

Download KillBox http://www.greyknigh...spy/KillBox.exe. Run KillBox and check the box that says 'End Explorer Shell While Killing File'. Next click on 'Delete on Reboot'. Right click and copy the below lines. Go back to KillBox. Go to File->Paste from Clipboard and then hit the button with a red circle and white X. Confirm to delete and when asked if you want to reboot, say Yes:

If you get a PendingOperations message, just close it and restart your computer manually.

Please download VundoFix.exe at http://www.atribune....ds/VundoFix.exe to your desktop.

* Double-click VundoFix.exe to extract the files.
* After the files are extracted, please reboot your computer into Safe Mode. You can do this by restarting your computer and continually tapping the F8 key (or F5 in some machines) until a menu appears. Use your up arrow key to highlight Safe Mode then hit enter.
* Once in safe mode open the VundoFix folder and doubleclick on KillVundo.bat
* Please type the following file path (make sure to enter it exactly as below!):

C:\WINDOWS\system32\mljjg.dll

* Press Enter, then press the F6 key, then press Enter one more time to continue with the fix.
* When asked for a second path, enter -> C:\WINDOWS\system32\gjjlm.*

Open Cleanup! by double-clicking the icon on your desktop (or from the Start > All Programs menu).
Set the program up as follows:
Click 'Options...'
Move the arrow down to 'Custom CleanUp!'
Put a check next to the following (Make sure nothing else is checked!):

* Empty Recycle Bins
* Delete Cookies
* Delete Prefetch files
* Cleanup! All Users

Click OK. Press the CleanUp! button to start the program.
It may ask you to reboot at the end, click NO.

Then, please run an online virus scan at ActiveScan http://www.pandasoft.../activescan.htm

Copy the results of the ActiveScan and paste them here along with a new HijackThis log and the vundofix.txt file from the vundofix folder into this topic.

i did another online scan and it didnt found any infections or anything bad ^^...

But i do have CounterSpy, and this is what its alerting me:

Advice: Since this is known to be spyware you should consider removing it.

sry... i just wanted to know what are some free anti-spyware programs that alert me.... and also some firewalls for my computer.
i have norton and mcaffe, but i think they are outaded... and i cant update them.

and also can u give me some recomendations to prevent future viruses and spyware... tnx so much

I never used CounterSpy before but is there an option to set it to remember the action you chose? If you want, run Ad-aware, Spybot, Ewido and Panda again to make sure they don't detect any other files (except maybe for cookies).

I don't like Norton and McAfee. I use Grisoft AVG (free) and ZoneAlarm (also free - firewall). I listed everything (the programs to get) earlier already:

anyways, i did another scan and it didnt find anything ^^.

also should i uninstall norton and mcafee?... they are no use to me no more, and i just dowloaded Zone alarm. And o yeah.... counterspy hasnt shown the alert no more, so thats good.

o yeah, i also wanted to ask you.. do u know why i cant use MSN Messenger no more?.. also i cant access my email... which was with ROad RUnner...

one last thing.. do u know how i can make my computer run faster?

If you uninstall Norton and McAfee, make sure you get Grisoft AVG. You shouldn't have more than one antivirus program since they will most likely conflict. ZoneAlarm is only the firewall program and not an antivirus (unless you got the whole suite series).

MSN Messenger and email not working? Was this right after you installed ZoneAlarm? If so, is ZoneAlarm running when you tried to use MSN Messenger? If not, make sure it is because ZoneAlarm will ask you for permission before allowing that program to go online.

Faster? Yes, disable programs that you don't need from startup. I see a few here that are not required to run. If you need help with that, make sure you are in Normal Mode and run a new HijackThis scan. Post the log here and I will tell you which ones to disable from there.

...if you're computer is still slow (or kind of sluggish at startup), try fixing these in HijackThis:
