hello
this is my 1st time in your forum, i folowed some instructions on one of the other lines with reference to this problem such as the cleaner registry mechanic etc and have run hijack.
i am hoping that you may be of assistance in helping to erradicate this pest

i 1st noticed it yesterday when i started the computer norton antivirus said that i had a malicious script

i have norton 2002 but have not updated so systamtec is not an option at the moment

i am not at all sure how dangerous this bug is
am i a target for a hacker and how vunerable is my information. i would have updated or purchased a cleaner but do not want to give my credit card details if they are not safe

you say youre using norton ...would that be norton antivirus 2002 by any chance? if so norton used to use a thing called bloodhound in order to check for virii...trouble was the virii used to get to it ....so the problem could lie with the norton itself

later models of nav got rid of bloodhound thank god . hope this is of some use to you

one other thing you could do is run an online test with something like panda online and see if that picks up this problem.

i also had this problem look for my post if you dont completly rid yourself of this problem

i ran the housecall scanner. scan came up negative for viruses. while scanning, the win.hlp32.exe virus warning came up through nav. other than that things are looking 1000% better. thanks for all your help. stress is slowly disappearing.
