Seems my firewall exit is dimmed, so I will take as leave it for now. I really know all this maleware can be making my system erractic. I cant wait for help in removing it.
I hope im not disturbing you. I saw you have posted over 800, thats helping many people!
Is Kerio easy to use or do I need to buy a book that explanation of domains and IP, ISP to allow my applications to work?

Very easy to use, it is made so newbes can use it, if you need help just ask me. You can make it harder to use if you you say you are an advanced use when you set it up but as long as you don't do that it is easy.

Yes I supose I have helped a lot of people, many more if you think of how many that find the replys and fix there problem form that. Also I wrote Easy Xp Tweaks Second Edition and that is looked at by hundreds every day.

BTW, now theres a Adinistrator2cuddles. Where just where is vthe computer getting the information?

I think that the Adinistrator2cuddles would have been made by what every you are infected with. I got some spyware once that made a profile other than my own. Kerio should help in blocking the malware form doing what it whats to.

If you want the technical answer most of the info come for the folder C:\Document and Settings\Default this is the folder form which all profiles are made.

Hi Michael, Kerio did not vallow Firefox to connect even tho I added it to programs. I couldnt do much more
since I couldnt connnnnnect to the internet. It was worth a try.
Would you have the download link for Sygate,, I need some firewall and Fire Zone seem to let in viruses.

Here is a LINK I think that your infection would be the cause of the problem.

I have never heard of Fire Zone before. I am not suprised it let things in.

Michael, Will you please tell me if theres a version 5.0 of Firefox? My v is 1.07 with just updating it. Is there a forum for firefox? Because I need to know quickly if my settings are set to keep out any more malware.

The latest version is 1.07. There is a form for firefox if you what me to answer about the setting there that is alright with me, but I may as well answer here. FireFox is set up to be very safe the only changes to make it safer are

Tools < Options < Web Features
And Tick
  • Block Popup Windows
  • Load Images]
  • For the originating web site only
Uptick every thing else. You may need to tick
  • Allow web sites to install software
When installing plugins for firefox, I have it disabled when I am not, which is most of the time.

i Have just noticed a CPtf folder in my temp files. no software finds them devious, but they are.

others spawn casino windows and www.888.com windows....
i have yet to find how these files are being made. i see them show up as soon as a pop up appears from IE, while im using Firefox. I have used Nortons, Adaware, Spybot, SpySubtract...... nothing finds anything amiss.
my internet explorer securtiy settings are on high, and the only Addons listed (2) are legit


ALSO- MYSTERIOUSLY WHEN I TYPE 'doubleEDITEDclick' INTO GOOGLE, GOOGLE WILL NOT LET ME CLICK
'SEARCH' OR 'LUCKY'. so how far inside IE is this thing?!??! even while google does let me search
'Doublecli' and it suggests 'DoubleEDITEDclick', It wont let me click that either!! i cannot even spell it
correctly, IN THIS POST! it will even not let me post with the word DoubleEDITEDclick in the post! HELP!
isnt this illegal at this point? the program will not let me search their site for removal instructions.
Thats gotta be illegal. yes???.

i can delete the files, and even alter the files themselves, but they come right back.
im not happy about this. i found this forum searching for CPtf.

Form what you have said you are infected with malware. To fix that I need you to first read This and then post a HiJack This log in the Malware Forum Not here. Some one will then reply when they can.

Welcome Steffey, I know my C drive well enough to know some folder has been added by malware. My "CPtf" folder was under an added to an unoffical User. I did a search on the internet then I deleted it along with its Temp file.
These spyware and malware programs dont cath everything. Thats why I generally check my hard drive myself and remove after a quick search.
If it comes back I delete in Safe Mode and after that if its back I know theres more hiding.
