Hi everyone, thank you so much for helping me in advance. Here's my issue: everytime windows starts up and I try to log on under my name (I'm the main one) it begins to start up, but then that blue screen of death just pops up and I don't know why. I can log on under other users and it is fine. Also, I just came from the virus forum because I had a bunch virus, but I was cleared over there and sent over here. Any reason why this would be happening?

Hi sreynaga!

What is the exact error message that you are receving when you try to login to your account? If the blue screen just pops up and your computer restarts, then do this: Boot into SAFE MODE (tab F8 continuously once you reboot your computer until the screen displays allowing you to enter safe mode), then log in under the account that is giving you the blue screen. Then right click MY COMPUTER, select PROPERTIES, click on the ADVANCED tab, then click the STARTUP AND RECOVERY button, then uncheck the box that says AUTOMATICALLY RESTART under the heading SYSTEM FAILURE.

If you are still getting the BSOD even when trying to log into the account in safe mode, then reboot your computer, and get into safe mode but this time log in as the ADMINISTRATOR and do what I said above.
