I've tried all of the suggested remedies, and I still have the Trojan.Vundo virus. Similar to some other cases, I have Norton Antivirus and I have run the FixVundo tool with no success. Please help!!!

Thanks for the quick response.

I downloaded and extracted the VundoFix file on my desktop. I then restarted in Safe Mode.

In Safe Mode, I get to the point where the desktop is about to load, and nothing happens, just a black screen with the Safe Mode header and footer. When I go to task manager, if I leave the mouse alone and don't switch back and forth on the tabs, then the CPU sits there at a flat 3%.

I've tried restarting in normal mode by tapping F8 and selecting that option, but I think because I started Safe Mode using msconfig, it won't load in normal mode and goes straight to the failing Safe Mode.

This sounds bad. Any suggestions?

Download KillBox http://www.greyknigh...spy/KillBox.exe. Run KillBox and check the box that says 'End Explorer Shell While Killing File'. Next click on 'Delete on Reboot'. Right click and copy the below lines. Go back to KillBox. Go to File->Paste from Clipboard and then hit the button with a red circle and white X. Confirm to delete and when asked if you want to reboot, say Yes:

If you get a PendingOperations message, just close it and restart your computer manually.
