hello :tazz: i have come to the decision that its time to formatt my computer coz it has so much malware and crap on it that i'd rather format it than try to get it all off. the thing is is that i have a SATA hard drive, i tried to format it once but when i went to reinstall windows it wouldn't detect a hard drive, i found out later that it had to do with drivers. so i ended up taking it into the computer store and the nice bloke there installed the sata drivers and windows for me, it cost me 40 bucks. so this time around i'm looking to save 40 dollars and format it my self. i have a 80gb western digital hard drive, i don't have a disk with sata drivers on them so wat do i do if i wanna format

As soon as set up starts, look for press F6 to install SATA / RAID Drivers

Check with the shop, that is all he did

http://www.asrock.co..._GUIDE/SATA.pdf

That is 1.85MB but page 4 on deals with installing XP
