When I try to start my computer, the windows background appears but no programs show up on the desktop or "start" bar at the bottom. I cont-alt-delete and I see lockx, aolsc, and msgre... in the program box. IF I try to end program on the lockx, then msgr says not responding.

When I try to boot in safe mode, the lockx shows up in the startup too.

How can I get windows to boot so I can get rid of this thing.

I have no antivirus software on my computer. I have Spybot, but again, i cant get windows to boot.

Help.

I have win 98 second edtion verions. I am brand new to this site. This is awesome!!
