I have xp. For some unknown reason I am unable to go to any of my programs through shortcuts, the start button (non existent at this time). When I turn on the computer it goes directly to my document folder and the only way I can get to any of the programs is to open a document in that program. Just so happens there is a yahoo document which is the only way I can get onto the internet. I can not get to control panel, start button or anywhere else. Only way to shut down computer is to control, alt, delete to get task manager and close out that way. I have tried to do a debugging but that did not correct it. What can I do? In trying to do a recovery commander with System suite 5 it said it could not find "c" drive. WHat can anyone recommend.

Thank you.
