when i try to install the internet on my computer a screen pops up and say, i need to set the pixles at 400x800. when i try to set them i can't get it to move. Please help.

i am trying to install the internet with peoplepc.com, and also it said that i need to change the pixels to 400x800, when i try to do that it will not let me do so. i have tried everything that i know. whould you please help me?
