I used noadhfears script alone in safemode for PS Guard removal and it worked. .

But here is another method http://www.ccleaner.com/ Got it from the folks at Aluria.

I'm currently wrestling with a new one that is a cross between Smithfraud and PS Guard. It displays "Spyware Infection" in bold on your desktop. SmitRem, Smithreg and others do not work on it... interesting!
