I have a friend's computer from which I have been removing viruses and spyware for a week now. The system is now clean of all threats but I seem to be having trouble deleting some left over registry keys. It appears that this computer had the 180Solutions.Search Assistant and 180Solutions.Zango Tracking Programs. The following registry keys remain and cannot be deleted manually or by Spybot S&D, Panda Platinum 2006, or any other removal apps.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/Classes/ClientAX.RequiredComponent
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/Classes/ClientAX.RequiredComponent.1
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/Classes/ClientAX.ClientInstaller
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/Classes/ClientAX.ClientInstaller.1

The error received is:

'Cannot Delete ClientAX.RequiredComponent: Error While Deleting Key'

Any Ideas?

I think I've figured it out... I seems it was a permissions issue. Had to log in as Administrator and change the permissions on each subkey.
