Hi all, im a new poster, I hope you guys can help me recently when i opened up yahoo, and then logged onto my mail, ill get a screen saying that internet encountered an error and then all internet pages up would close down. When i opened up my messenger couldnt chat becouse the link wouldnt work, if i try to for example, to view a yahoo page ill get message "sorry page is not found" i get the same message if someone sends me a link. So i uninstalled yahoo messanger and other yahoo applications, but now when i go to the yahoo home page and then click on download messenger , i get sorry page is not found as well, i cannot access the help group forums becouse of the same message, could someone help? everything else works fine on my pc except for yahoo, and i dont know if this helps but i dont have opera on my system.

what browser are you using? Try cleaning out your internet cache and cookies. Also run a spyware scan if you haven't in a while.

Thanks for the suggestion, I have done a spy sweep, and also virus check, plus also used the registry mechanic, deleted cookies and temp files, and the problem still persists, regarding your query over my browser its internet explorer 6.0, hope that helps.

Does anybody else have suggestions? im seriously thinking of formatting my hard drive...
