Can someone please help after having some prolems recently i reinstalled windows xp and then reinstalled all my games. as i started one game (soldier of fortune II) i had a incompatability message about open gl directx so i downloaded the latest directx, nvidia gforce driver and neither work i cant even detect my graphics card all i can find is information about generic driver and legacy graphics. I know its something simple but what? Hope you all can help

Try this, download and run driver cleaner: http://www.driverheaven.net/cleaner/

Remove all video drivers from your system. Reboot, go to nvidia.com and install the latest driver. Restart.

Are you sure your card is an nVidia?
