Hello all...This may just be a trivial problem but one that I like to use. Up until this past weekend I could use
the auto complete feature. A microsoft win. 2000 update came thru and I ended up with all kinds of problems. I lost folders on my desktop, programs(dvd decrypt & shrink), and ended up with 2 java problems
which I have fixed thanks to your wonderful site. Things seem normal now except for auto complete. Any ideas on what went wrong? I'm at work now so I can't tell you which update came thru. It did make for an interesting weekend.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Hello and Welcome to Geeks To Go

It would most likely be you have had files corrupted some how by what happen. So go
Start < run and type sfc /scannow this will give a blue bar when it goes reboot. This needs the Windows XP Cd so have that in you computer before you start. This will fix all corrupt or missing files.
