My "D" drive has suddenly disappeared from my computer. It does not show up on "My Computer" and does not recognize when a disc is inserted. Games won't load etc. Any thoughts??

:) Thanx for that. After reading the link, I again tried device manager and this time, the D drive was there. Uninstalled the drivers, restarted and go figure, its back under 'my computer'. I don't know why it spontaneously reappeared or why it disappeared in the first place. Thanx for your interest. :tazz:
