I'm having trouble working with iTunes. Although it works fine, I'm having trouble figuring out how to actually put songs on my shuffle through it. I have succeeded, yes, but with a great deal of pain. I dont have it in front of me right now (im in the lab) but let me describe what I want to do and hopefulyl some kind soul can help me out :tazz:

I want to copy songs from different locations onto my shuffle. Some are on the computer, some are on one CD, some are on the other. Can anyone tell exactly what to do? Sometimes for some reason it seems to say a song has been copied when it hasnt, or sometimes when I try to copy to the shuffle it just doesnt seem to be able to drag and drop. I havent used my computer ni a month now and am just setting it up tomorrow again, thats why my details are a bit sketchy, but am taking a long trip tomorrow night so would really appreciate if anyone could help em out :)

Thanks, kinds folks!

what i do is make a new playlist, put the songs on the playlist first (which should be at the bottom of all the other icons in the menu bar) then drag the playlist on the IPOD icon - which uploads them to the ipod; that way you have a custom playlist which can be accesssed through the ipod when disconnected
