Persistent Malware foobar.exe [CLOSED]

I have followed all of the instructions concerning installation and the use of Ad-Aware, Spybot, etc.
Nothing seems to be improving my situation:
1. My computer loses internet connectivity after 5 minutes, but my roommate has no such problem.
2. A .exe file named foobar keeps re-creating itself.
3. Computer processes and internet have significantly decreased in speed and efficienty; computer usage as high as 50%-100%.
4. When AOL Instant Messenger is on, every contact on buddy list is spammed with miscellaneous link (I believe this is how i contracted the virus/trojan to begin with, mistook a spyware link for an actual link)

I apologize for the delay getting to your log, the helpers here are very busy.

Before we can get started on fixing your problem you must change the location of Hijackthis. It should not run directly from your desktop or a temp directory. Please create a directory on your c: drive called c:\hijackthis and download and unzip hijackthis into that directory. Run the program from that directory from now on. It is essential that you follow these steps or certain important features of the program will not function correctly.

Once you have Hijackthis running from a permanent folder, please reboot and post a new hijackthis log.
