Greetings!

I have this problem with the explorer.exe process using 99% of my CPU time. I followed all the suggestions by Buckeye_Sam in this thread, http://www.geekstogo...ent-t65061.html, but it does not seem to have sloved my problem.

When I reboot the computer and open the taskmanager it is fine. But as soon as I try using the Windows Explorer it grabs all the CPU time an I cannot delete any files. I just get an error message telling me the file I'm trying to delete is already in use, and that I should close any programs using it. The only programs have running at the time is Firefox and Windows Explorer. No programs that are realted to any of the files I try to delete.

I am not exactly sure what to post in here that will help you, but I've decided to try and include the Hijackthis log, as that seems to be what is used.

I am thankful for any assistance I can get.

I should probably note that I'm currently running a Windows XP professional SP1a installation, that I will update to SP 2 as soon as I can get my system free of malware.
