Okie dokie, this is the challenge.
It's not much really yet something worthwhile. :tazz:

It is kinda a promise or pledge to TRY...well more than
TRY, let's use the word PLAN.

I (name here)___________ will get outside and walk or some other exercise
(no matter how cold or rainy or nasty the weather) for 20 MINUTES every day
beginning Saturday, 10-22-05 through the rest of this year.

Antartic-Boy, coltm4carbine, masterj3000, Danny, Kristy and myself;
the outdoor exercise starts TODAY....Saturday, October 22, 2005.

I have emailed with Antartic-Boy and we think just draw a BIG STAR
on the calendar, each day you complete your exercise.

(It can be done in TWO, 10 minute intervals, if that works best on certain days.)

And if some day you don't get out and exercise then you will need to
make up for it by taking a 40 minute walk (or other outdoor exercise)
if you want a star for your calendar for the day you missed. :)

Anyone wanting to join in, just sign your name to the pledge.
The more the merrier. :tazz:

My Saturday won't begin for another hour. I'm spending pretty much all of tomorrow at a marching band festival... our show is probably about 8 minutes, and with warm ups, that should cover me for tomorrow. I play trumpet, so that should count as a physical activity.

Great idea, Janie! :) I can't commit to every day, as winter will soon be here. I live in Illinois, just south of Chicago...on a farm. When it snows...we are literally snowed in a lot of the time. During the winter, I tend to do indoor exercise, I prefer my Richard Simmons Sweatin to the Oldies dvd's.

I know I know. Most ppl don't like him. But with my back so messed up, his tapes are the only ones I can comfortably do. And hey...the music is FUN! :tazz:

masterj3000 Yep, today will be easy to get your 20 minutes of outdoor
exercise...other days might not be quite so easy and you will have to
give more effort to get outside and take a walk or some other exercise.

coltm4carbine and Kat.
Cold weather is the main reason for this outdoor challenge. :)

It is EASY in the Spring though Fall to get out and enjoy the fresh outdoor air
but much more difficult in yukky ole Winter.

JUST DRESS WARM.

C'mon Kat, how about signing the Pledge?
