Hi fellow geeks!

I'm in desperate need for some assistance.

For the very first time ever, I've managed to get my laptop (IBM R50 Thinkpad, Windows XP Pro SP2 Danish) infested with the most evil and hard-to-kill malware I've ever seen.

My OS i 100% up to date with all patches etc. installed. I use Firefox (only IE when forced to) combined with Microsoft Antispyware and Symantec AntiVirus.

To prevent further damage, I've now almost in panic installed ZoneAlarm, Trend Micro Anti Spyware, Spywareblaster, Spybot Search & destroy and Ad-Aware SE.

I've run all of the above, and removed most of the rediculous malware, but there are still some left I can't seem to get rid off.

Furthermore I've powergoogled the web for possible fixes and useful instructions. Unfortunately, I haven't found the right one yet.

FYI, I've also downloaded a bunch of useful tools as i ran into them in my search for the holy grail; Hijackthis, KillBox, Hoster, CWShredder, Kill2Me, CleanUp, AboutBuster, LSPFix.

The following applications tries so access the internet as soon as i boot in the following order (from ZoneAlarm with maximum restrictions):

svchost.exe looks for 195.82.195.101:DNS (my ISP's nameserver ns.get2net.dk)
msnmsgr.exe looks for 127.0.0.1:Port 1035 (harmless i guess)
rundll32.exe looks for 195.82.195.101:DSN (my ISP's nameserver ns.get2net.dk)
svchost.exe looks for 255.255.255.255:DHCP
explorer.exe looks for 64.192.130.151:HTTP (THIS IS THE PROBLEM!)
Tmas.exe looks for 66.35.253.100:HTTP (Trend Micro Anti Spy)
msnmsgr.exe looks for 65.54.179.192:HTTPS (harmless i guess)

When I open Firefox (or iexplorer), firefox.exe tries to connect to 64.192.130.151 (the same explorer.exe tried upon boot), if access is denied, no websites pop up, but if I allow the connect, the annoiying websites keep comming.
Afterwards., firefox.exe wants to connect to 127.0.0.1 og 64.192.130.151 every other minute.

My hosts-file has been hijacked with a bunch of evil-looking URL's (search- and ad-related sites) - all with the IP 127.0.0.1. I've tried deleting the unwanted hosts og write protected the file, but with no luck. The hostile hosts reappears at once.

Anyways, this is what I'm left with at the moment: When I connect to the internet with a browser, yet another annoying website and/or a splash-ad shows it self on top of my desktop.

Any ideas?

Kind Regards
