From a Newbie: My Inspiron 1100 has a totally blank screen. The power comes on and the Windows XP sound can be heard. When hooked-up to another computer monitor, it also remained blank. F8 and FN keys did not correct the problem. My computer is slightly more than one year old, has had little use and is out of warranty.
