hi everyone

i was wondering if its possible (well i know its possible, but is it logical) to replace the fan in a playstation 2 to a quieter one. it is very loud especially if all the appliances are off in the house and i would like to play even when other people are asleep.

i think it is 40mm diameter, but the connector is a really small 3 pin connector, probably less than 1/3 cm

anyone ever done this before? is it worth it?

thanks

Probably. I'll let someone else help you with that. I just want to give you a warning. By opening up a system like that, you usually disqualify yourself from the warranty. So be careful if you decide to.
