Howdy:

First of all, can your mobo handle a gig of ram per slot??

Also, what is the make and model of your mobo??

According to the Matsonic website, your mobo supports the following..

Memory
Supports two 184-pin DDR DIMM maximum size up to 2GB.
Support DIMMs of DDR400 / DDR333 / DDR266

Where did you buy your ram from??

Have you tried putting it in Slot 1 (closest to the CPU)??

Does the speed match the ram already in??

Have you tried using JUST the new ram??
