When I play cd's or videos the sound is speeded up. Everything sounds like the chipmunks. But if I burn a cd and I play it back on another player the sound comes out perfect. HEELLLLPPP!!

What player are you using when the cds/videos sound like the 'chipmunks'? And have you tried multiple players? Like playing them in Windows Media Player AND Winamp...
