I don't know if I'm in the correct forum...

I have a Dell Inspiron 8100 that is running Windows XP. The last time I tried to connect my computer to a projector to run a powerpoint presentation, there was no signal.

The tech at my school told me to go to Porperties, then Display, then advanced, and I would find a tab for monitors that would allow me to choose a projector--but I haven't found such a thing...

What do I do?

Thanks
