All of a sudden on 10-20-2005, around 7 PM HST, I've been getting Pokapoka76.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvienience.

I thought to myself no biggy, just another program I need to close or restart. But as soon as I clicked don't send, it popped up again! So I clicked don't send for a few minutes and then I got irritated with this "game" so I tried send error report, and it still doesn't work! I'm trapped withing Pokapoka76.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvienience.'s!

I'm not sure what I did, or who did it because I was no where near using an internet browser or messenger, it might have occured from somone in this household but I'll point fingers later as soon as this phantom monstrosity is dealt with and I can go back to playing World of Warcraft.

Well anyways, I often keep track with my Ad-aware and Spybot and I even have ZoneAlarm Pro to help watching what goes through to my computer, but I didn't get a warning this time so I updated everything and I still have these problems.

well this is my HJT log:

That's about it, I also have a log from Ad-aware but I'll wait if I need a staff's request to post it up here.

At wits' end,

Download LQfix.exe and place it on your desktop.
Doubleclick LQfix.exe and click install.
Leave the default settings. If you change them, the fix will fail.
Make sure 'Launch LQfix' is checked. After clicking finish in the install, the fix will start.
Follow the prompts on the screen.
Your system will reboot afterwards.
Please be patient after reboot, because there is a script running in the background.

After the reboot, please run Panda's online virus scan and perform a full system scan: Panda ActiveScan

Save the scan log and post it along with a new HijackThis Log in your next reply.

--------------------------------------

I need you to post a new log single spaced as it makes things easier to read:

To remove the double spacing in your log, please do the following:
  • Please go to Start >> Run... and type notepad.exe
  • Hit OK.
  • Now go to Format and uncheck WordWrap.
  • Close Notepad.
  • Then post a new HijackThis log.
