Hi, I hope you can help, My computers been running slow for a while especially on startup. I suspect some sort of malware but cant find anything so far. I've scanned with spybot, Adaware SE, Ewido, Panda activescan, Trojan Hunter and my own antivirus software, TrendMicro PCcillin. Follow the prompts to scan your system for viruses. Then please post for me the log of infected files from the BOTTOM panel of the scan window. Please remove any lines relating to "Invalid object" as they are not needed at this time.

Ok, let's try cleaning things up a bit, then see how the MWav scan looks then. Download: CCleaner (freeware)

Once installed, run CCleaner click the Windows [tab]
Select the following:

Next: click Options click the Settings tab
Uncheck: "Only delete files older than 48 hrs.", click Ok
Then click Run Cleaner (bottom right) then Exit.

After that is done, reboot your computer and run a new MWav scan. Post the log as previously directed.

Ok, you have several P2P programs showing up including Bearshare, Limewire and Kazaa. Do you still have those installed?

yeah. I can uninstall them but I'm more concerned about the w32/rbot-ank and the troj/taladra-f BackDoor files. I know they probably came from the P2P programs and I've now stopped P2P sharing as It seems to create constant problems but I'd still like to keep the P2P software installed if possible. Can you tell me how to remove the nasty looking files please? Trojans scare me!
