Then, please run this online virus scan: ActiveScan

Thnaks for the great instructions!

Downloaded/ran undofix.exe - successful

Booted computer in safe mode - successful only wierd thing was I couldn't log in on safe mode as administrator because it kept asking for a password, which 1) I never, ever had and (2) If I did, I have a sequence of passwords I use, and it could only have been one thing, which didn't work. I copied vundo over to my only other user (wife's) desktop and ran it from there. This computer is a very simple setup, no harddrive partitioning, etc. So it seemed to work fine.

Run killvundo.bat - successful

Filepath entires, check and fix items - successful

Close/Reboot - successful Spybot picked up 3 changes in registries while this was happening, all of which I allowed since it appeared to be related to the fix process

Download/run Cleanup - relatively successful, only wierd thing was I didn't see "Custom Cleanup" come up, just "Clean Up" which is what I used.

Run ActiveScan - Problem: This may or may not be related to WinFixer, but the following spyware was detected:

Spyware:Spyware/Virtumonde Reported C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\awvvv.dll

I am more than happy to pay for/download a program from Panda to kill these two, but didn't want to send out credit card info if these two spyware items exist. The reality is they've probably been there the whole time, but I wanted to let you know what was going on first.

I ran HJT to do a post-vundofix.exe scan and the log is posted below.

Now close all windows other than HiJackThis, then click Fix Checked. Reboot

Now open pocketkillbox Select the option "Delete on reboot".
Now highlight and 'copy' (Ctrl + C) the filepaths below:

Now paste the full filepath into the"Full Path of File to Delete"
field
Then press the red button with a white X in it.
Killbox will tell you that all listed files will be deleted on next reboot, click YES.When it asks if you would like to Reboot now, click YES.
