ECS boards have been known in the past to be ridiculously fussy about the type of memory you put in them, though this isn't too much of a problem now with later boards. Previous boards often rejected memory that was working in them five minutes earlier.

Anyway that board won't support very modern technology such as PCI Express graphics cards and what not and it has onboard graphics which are up to the usual standard :tazz: and I don't rate the SiS chipsets myself as being anything to write home about.

But having said that, looks a nice starting base for something to get up and running with.

ECS arent the worst board makers but they arent the best either: they seem to put a fair portion of duff boards you can RMA it but its usually better to go with a reliable company with a good reputation and hardware, the motherboard is probably the most important part in the computer so its not something to compromise on, and its a real pain to upgrade the board compared to other parts..
