I have in my computer cd and dvd writer.and i am having trouble with writing them, everytime i start writing i get some error report

i did format c even but it didnt help. I have used different programs, this report is with pineacle. Ihave managed to write some cd s with windows but no dvd s


And maybe you can suggest me some free programs for fixing registri problems.

no that didnt work.Registry was ok, but no recording tab in device properties.

I managed to write with my cd-rw in windows, but with dvd-rw it said, during prepearing disk,that an error as occured.I checked in registry it was ok

i found out my problem, i put my dvd writer to the slave mode and it worked fine. the problem was with the line that connected dvd-rw to the computer.
