Hi all

AEGIS Protocol(IEEE 802.1x)

What is this ?
Do i need it ?
This is on a laptop with wireless connection all seems to work ok but in properties it is shown in a box but does not seem to be installed.
Where to go to download if i need this?

I believe it belongs to the WPA encryption; it must be installed separately [usually} from your wireless card drivers

I was wrong, Aegis is NOT part of WPA, but Cowboy is likely right, you won't need it. Link for addl info:
