I came into work today to find the computer totally ridden with spyware/adware. Through Microsoft anti-spyware, spybot, adaware, and ewido i was able to remove almost everything. But i'm still getting some kind of popup (less frequently) and also in internet explorer a bunch of the words are underlined and linked to advertizements.

Here is my hijack this log after doing all the cleaning i know how:

This is a university switchboard and emergency dispatching computer. getting this machine back up to speed is of the gravest importance, but apparently not important enough for my supervisor to want to call out the system admins here.

That is the most recent hijack this log. Can you use that? i'm not at work and won't be going in for another couple days (its my weekend). If you give me something to try i may go in to try them, and can post back results.

thanks

Ok, let's work from this log. But be advised that this will likely take more than one step.

Run Hijackthis again, click scan, and Put a checkmark next to each of these. Then close all other windows--you should only see HijackThis on your Desktop--and click the Fix Checked button.
