Alright,

I ran through the steps listed (http://www.geekstogo...showtopic=2852.) I think I covered them all, but I still have a problem. Here is what happened.

I was surfing the web with my laptop. (Dell/Inspiron/WinXP) I believe that while I was surfing something loaded itself onto my hard drive. At the time, I was using Sygate Tiny Personal Firewall, Spybot, AdawareSE, etc. These programs were all running. When I unplugged the DSL cable, I noticed that my computer was running terrribly slow. REALLY slow. I checked C:\ and, even though I should have had three gigs left, I only had 144MB left. And that quickly disappeared. It took me a while, but I figured out what was going on--I think.

The file drwatson.log in C:\Documentsandsettings\Allusers\Applicationdata\Microsoft\Drwatson had grown so large that it was now three gigs! I killed DRWATSON32.exe and deleted the file. I rebooted, HOWEVER when I turn Sygate Firewall on, this causes DRWATSON32.exe to begin and my whole problem starts up again. (The drwatson.log goes from 0.0 kb to 32.2kb in about five seconds....real-time.)

Per the instructions, I shall now post the contents of that program "HiJackThis." I will be grateful for any help. Thanks. (Of course, if I need to provide further information, please tell me.)

Carl
