I keep getting this message when i enter a disk into the computer i get this error A:\is not accessible...... No ID address mark was found on the floppy disk

What are you tring to do with the floppy drive ?
right click on my computer a little box will come up click on properties then hardware tab then device manger click the little + next to floppy disk controllers it should show a drop down list under it what does it show there . do you have any yellow ! in your device manger?

Does this happen with every disk, or is it just one disk you're having problems with?

Some word processors used special hard-sectored disks that can't be read by a normal PC, unless you have a special program loaded onto the computer with DOS, Win3.1, Win98 (not WindowsXP/2000/NT) . You can tell by carefully rotating the floppy disk's insides by rotating the center hole. Watch the little pencil-sized hole. If it's a hard-sectored diskette, you'll see a whole bunch of holes pass by. On a regular floppy there's just one hole.
